Credit card limits: Meme, anyone?

An interesting thread over at savingadvice.com has people listing their credit limits and debating whether it's good or bad to have large amounts of unused credit lying around. Some of the answers are fairly interesting.

If anybody cares to list their own credit limits and speculate on what about your financial life has made them so low or so high, leave a comment or a trackback ping and I'll list the posts here.

Here are the limits on my credit cards:

CC1: 10,000
CC2: 7900
CC3: 6000
CC4: 5000
CC5: 1500

Total available credit: $30,400

Note: If it takes me a little while to list people's contributions, it's because I'm out of town. I must be a lunatic to start a meme when I'm leaving my high speed internet connection behind for two weeks, but my memes usually generate 2 or 3 responses at most, so I'm not too worried about being inundated. :) And besides, it's a holiday weekend. I hope everybody will get away from their computers for a few days.
